| 課程簡介 | Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) including sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. The ANS moderate cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, sudomotor, sexual and bladder function. In the clinical setting, there are various examinations to assessing the autonomic function. The most well documented test for cardiovascular function is cardiovagal heart rate tests by means of heart rate response to deep breathing, Valsalva ratio and heart response to standing. For assessing the adrenergic functions, we can test by means of beat-to-beat BP recordings of VM, sustained hand grip, and BP/HR response to standing tests. The heart rate variability (HRV) can be measurement as time-domain methods, frequency-domain methods, rhythm pattern analysis, and nonlinear methods. The changes of HRV may relate to some specific pathology. In clinical practice, autonomic function test can be used to diagnose and predict the clinical outcome in terms of myocardial infarction, diabetic neuropathy, cardiac transplantation, and myocardial dysfunction. |
