| 課程大綱 | Venous thromboembolism (pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis) accounts for the leading cause of mortality from cardiovascular diseases all over the world. It is also a ubiquitous disease seen in patients with various medical and surgical conditions. Diagnosis of pulmonary embolism is the most challenge and risk stratification of pulmonary embolism is the initial step after the diagnosis is confirmed. Anticoagulation is effective for treatment and prevention of recurrence of VTE. Non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulants (NOAC) are the first option for eligible patients of NOAC according to the updated guidelines. |
